This weekend in Lisbon: Cuca Monga at Palácio Pimenta, 70 stalls in Marvila and a free vinyl fair in Benfica
Festival Cuca Monga takes over the Palácio Pimenta gardens, Amazonas Market sets up in Marvila, and the Feira Nacional de Vinil de Benfica reaches its 10th edition, free to attend.
Three days, three very different options for anyone sticking around Lisbon this weekend. Top billing goes to Festival Cuca Monga, which takes over the gardens of Palácio Pimenta, home to the Museu de Lisboa, in Campo Grande today and tomorrow, from 6pm to 2am, with two stages of Portuguese indie music, food stalls and band merchandise. Tickets are €32.
On Saturday and Sunday, Marvila hosts Amazonas Market at number 8, with around 70 stalls selling fashion, vintage pieces, jewelry and design. The program includes DJ sets across both days plus tufting, ceramics and tile-painting workshops, for anyone who wants to leave with more than just shopping bags.
Free vinyl in Benfica’s gardens
Also running Saturday and Sunday, on the other side of the city, the Palácio Baldaya gardens host the 10th edition of the Feira Nacional de Vinil de Benfica, from 10am to 8pm, with records, cassettes, CDs, turntables and speakers. Admission is free, making it the most budget-friendly option of the weekend for anyone hunting for a bargain or just curious to browse.
Anyone who prefers a night at the theater still has “O Pai,” Strindberg’s play directed by Gonçalo Waddington, running at Teatro São Luiz through Sunday. And for those already looking further ahead on the city’s cultural calendar, DocLisboa 2026 opens its doors in the coming weeks, with Edgar Pêra directing the opening film.
